Upgrading

From versions 6.xx

Before upgrading you should backup your project from the Tools->Backup menu in Print Distributor.

Upgrading from version 6 is automatic, run the setup just as if you are installing for the first time. All your virtual printers and their actions will be converted automatically.

From versions 3.xx to 5.xx

There are several steps to upgrading from earlier releases.

1. Start by backing up your project using the Tools->Backup menu in Print Distributor.

2. Uninstall Print Distributor.

3. Install the current version.

4. Restore the backup you created in step 1 using the Tools->Restore menu in Print Distributor.
